This article analyzes some of the architectural characteristics of the Temple of the Company of Jesus in Patzcuaro. The Temple of San Ignacio de Loyola was built in the early eighteenth century and its construction to an intention to join the Jesuits of the visual and urban discourse in this city-ancient bishopric founded by Don Vasco e Quiroga. With this intention a study is done based on some concepts from the Jesuit architecture and some of the elements of this temple compared to other buildings in the town.
